MCSFC Players Kai Pastor and Bronson Castro Selected for California ODP State Pool
A proud moment for the Panthers! Marin City Sausalito Football Club (MCSFC) is excited to celebrate Kai Pastor (2012) and Bronson Castro (2013), who have both been selected for the California Olympic Development Program (ODP) State Pool.
Kai and Bronson have been part of MCSFC since the club’s inception in 2022. Over the past four years, they have grown from young players into the talented athletes they are today, reflecting the dedication, perseverance, and passion that drive their continued development.
Their journeys with MCSFC have taken them beyond the local pitch. Both players traveled to Spain with CYSM teams, representing our club at the internationally recognized Mundialito tournament. Each returned home as a champion, gaining valuable international experience while proudly representing the Panther community. They have also played important roles in helping MCSFC teams capture multiple tournament championships over the years.
Their selection to the California ODP State Pool marks another significant milestone in their soccer journeys and reflects the hard work and commitment they have invested in their development. It is also a testament to MCSFC’s mission to provide young players with the coaching, opportunities, and supportive environment they need to reach their potential.
At MCSFC, player development is an ongoing commitment. We continually assess our players’ progress and look for opportunities to help them grow, challenge themselves, and take their game to the next level. Through a structured player pathway, we strive to provide access to the highest levels of youth soccer, including the Olympic Development Program (ODP) and Player Development Program (PDP). These opportunities allow our players to continue developing their skills, gain valuable experience, and pursue their ambitions beyond the club.
At MCSFC, we believe player development goes beyond wins and trophies. It is about helping young athletes build confidence, develop their skills, embrace challenges, and pursue their goals. Seeing Kai and Bronson take this next step is a powerful reminder of what dedication, opportunity, and a strong soccer community can make possible.
We are incredibly proud of Kai and Bronson and look forward to watching them continue to grow and pursue their soccer aspirations. Their achievements inspire our entire club and the next generation of Panthers.
Congratulations, Kai and Bronson! Keep working hard, keep dreaming big, and keep making the Panther community proud.
Go Panthers! 🐾⚽
