Revitalize Phillips Field — Give Marin City Kids a Field of Their Own
Marin City Sausalito FC envisions a future where every child has access to safe fields, quality coaching, and the chance to play, no matter their background or income. Did you know that Marin City’s only athletic field is unusable? Located adjacent to housing and the former school, children walk by it every day but cannot play on it.
Our goal is to support the Sausalito Marin City School District in securing the remaining $1.5 million needed to restore Phillips Field, and secure a long-term, low cost lease to make it the home field for MCSFC.
Help us restore Phillips Field — a community field for Marin City youth
MCSFC is leading a community-driven fundraising campaign to complete the renovation and ensure the field remains accessible to local families for generations. With our Letter of Intent submitted to the district, we’re launching the next critical step: raising community pledges to help fund Phase 1 field restoration and secure a true home field for our youth. Revitalizing it will finally give Marin City youth what they deserve — a safe, walkable place for children to play, learn, and grow — and will strengthen youth development, support healthy lifestyles, and deepen community pride for decades to come.
All funds raised by MCSFC for Phillips Field will be placed in a restricted account dedicated solely to Phillips Field improvements, with regular reporting to the Sausalito Marin City School District.

Transparency & Stewardship
MCSFC will place all donor contributions for Phillips Field in a restricted account reserved exclusively for Phillips Field improvements. We’ll provide quarterly financial updates to the Sausalito Marin City School District and publish campaign progress reports for donors and the community. Donors will receive:
