Mundialito stands as the foremost youth soccer tournament worldwide. Its prestige attracts top teams around the globe to participate in a high-quality tournament that completely immerses young players in the international culture of soccer. Players will get to experience a superior level of play surrounded by a rich love for the beautiful game. 

MCS FC provides the opportunity for talented young players within the Marin County and San Francisco area to experience the Mundialito World Championships. In 2023, our first year, we took players in two age groups to compete abroad. They achieved notable success as our players on the 2013 team reached the gold cup playoffs where they competed against top youth academy teams. And, our players on the 2012 team advanced to the Silver Cup to become tournament champions. Our goal is to continue providing talented players opportunities to travel and compete against the best youth teams while experiencing a unique cultural experience like no other. 

MCS FC coaches scout players in our training sessions throughout the season, inviting those who impress us with their performance, integrity, hard work, attitude, skill, and teamwork. We form competitive teams to travel abroad, not only based on the individual skills but on their coach-ability, positive attitude and team dynamics.

• Teams trained by UEFA Licensed academy coaches from top clubs in Spain.
• Coaching Staff includes coaches with International experience at the senior level and youth professional academies.
• Tournament teams are formed with players from various regions in California, other states and Spain. This provides a unique and special cultural experience for players and families that will create lasting friendships.
• Get to experience how a top professional youth academy player lives off the field when in a tournament. Daily pre-game training sessions and meals just with players and coaches.
• Play against the top competition in the world. Past clubs competing at the tournament include: Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Ajax, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, Schalke 04, Bayern Munich, Espanyol, Valencia, Seville, PSG, Sporting CP, FC Porto and many more.
• Opportunity to watch a professional soccer match. (In 2023 we went to see Real Sociedad vs Villareal and met with then Villareal coach Quique Setién. In 2024 we saw Real Madrid vs Atletico Bilbao at the famed Bernabeu stadium)

Tournament Schedule (Tentative)

• Meet at Barcelona/Madrid airport to take a chartered bus to our Hotel to check-in. 
• First week: On day 1-4 we will travel daily to our training site and begin training. 
• We will also have possible tours to nearby cities and/or professional matches. For the 2023 trip we visited Camp Nou stadium of famous FC Barcelona, toured the Olympic stadium and saw the ruins of Tarragona near Cambrils.
• Travel to Cambrils for the Opening Ceremony in the evening.
• Sunday-Wednesday: Group Stage Games
• Thursday-Friday: Play-Offs
• Saturday: Finals
• Sunday: Morning departure to Madrid. We will travel by chartered bus to our hotel
• Monday: Departure back home
